The body is made from light weight, hard anodized aluminium. The aluminium gives you a really even and rapid transfer of heat which will even conduct around the side walls of the pan further adding to the cooking properties of this pan.

For those of you who are slightly sceptical about the use of aluminium in cooking, rest assured. The hard anodization process protects the surface of the aluminium and prevents and contamination of your food from occurring. It also hardens the aluminium making this cookware incredibly durable.

The three piece set includes a 12 cm Pot Pan, a 16 cm Saucepan and a 20 cm Chef’s pan. If you live alone or are cooking for one of two people then this combination set will give you all of the necessary cookware needed to prepare hot and healthy meals.
The Pot Pan is great for making sauces or gravies, the pouring lip allows you to pour straight from the pan and the lid allows you to trap heat in the pan which will save time when boiling and energy in general cooking. All of this hard anodized cookware is coated with the Quantanium Non-stick coating from Whitford. This coating is one of the best on the market. It has also passed all American and European safety standards and was developed specifically for use in cookware and consequently with food.

The pans are light weight and easy to handle, they are non-stick and easy to clean, highly efficient heat conductors and therefore incredibly effective cooking chambers and have been designed to make cooking safer and easier for everyone whilst taking up less space in your cupboards and looking very cute in your kitchen.

Although Whitford claim that it is safe for you to use metal utensils with this non-stick coating which contains Titanium for extra strength, we here at Doctor Cook Ltd, tend not to recommend this. As I am sure you will recognize, the use of metal utensils on the non-stick coating is only going to speed up the rate at which this wears away despite the fact that the Titanium in Quantanium makes this coating one of the best on the market.
